Origins & Founding (1995)
Bullpadel was founded in 1995 by a group of Argentine and Spanish padel professionals.
The aim was clear: create a brand 100% dedicated to padel — not a generic racket or sports brand branching into padel, but a specialist.
Interestingly, the “Bull” in the name did not refer to a bull in the obvious sense but rather a
bull-terrier called “Naska,” the dog of one of the founders, whose image appeared on early rackets.
In those early years the brand built its identity around craftsmanship, niche dedication to padel, and the emerging Spanish/Argentine padel culture.
Growth & Acquisition (2005)
After ten years of independent growth, in 2005 the Madrid-based sports company Aguirre y Cía acquired Bullpadel.
This acquisition marked a turning-point. Under Aguirre’s stewardship, the brand began to professionalise its design, production, and distribution systems.
They also revamped the logo (moving away from the dog motif) and reinforced the brand’s positioning as a high-technology padel specialist.
From this point on, Bullpadel aimed not just at niche padel players, but at higher-visibility sponsorships, international expansion, and innovative product lines.
Bullpadel has been revolutionising padel since 1995, offering innovative rackets tailored to different playing styles.
