The Rafa Nadal new signature Babolat Pure Aero Tennis Racket for 2021-22 season has finally arrived. A special edition with Rafas own paint job. Babolat Pure Aero tennis racket as endorsed by Rafael Nadal.
The aerodynamic frame shape means the racket moves quickly through the air, increasing ball speed. The open stringing pattern allows for ultimate spin potential - ideal for the player wanting power and optimal spin.
Aeromodular Technology. Varying beam profiles at the throat, shaft and the head of the racket, each of which are strategically shaped to reduce wind drag. The result is easier access to power and spin through faster racket head speed.
FSI Spin (Frame String Interaction). Open string pattern with oblong shape grommets to help generate more spin
Carbon Ply Stabiliser. Material technology in the throat where a special carbon layer is woven into the graphite layup in order to increase torsional stability and control. Powered by Chomorat.
Cortex Pure Feel. For this version of Cortex Technology, Babolat has partnered with a company called SMAC, an annovative French Aerospace company. Thin viscolelastic material is put inside the frame between carbon layers. In addition to adding comfort, Babolat has designed this material technology to provide a great sound at impact along with a cleaner, more direct feel. For 2019, Babolat has moved Cortex Pure Feel to 3 and 9 o'clock in the head. In addition to reducing harsh impact vibrations, this technology, when placed at this location, also increases dwell-time and spin potential.
