WTA Tour Finals title in Texas

Team Yonex star Caroline Garcia (FRA) is the new WTA Tour Finals Champion after a straight sets victory over Aryna Sabalenka in Fort Worth, Texas. Garcia won the biggest Singles title of her career to cap off a remarkable personal season. 

Garcia made it through the group stage at the Finals in second place, having defeated Coco Gauff & Daria Kasatkina and losing to World Number One Iga Swiatek. In her play-off game, she eased past Maria Sakkari 6-3, 6-2 to reach her first Singles WTA Tour final.
