A Player's Racket, 16 March 2012

I am an average club player; I suffer from tendonitis in the elbow and have been playing with the Wilson Triad for the past few years. I restrung the Blade Lite with NXT Tour strings at 56lbs. Yes, you feel the impact of the ball more, but on the serve, where I used to feel a sharp pain, the racket seems to absorb the jarring impact of the ball. The racket won’t do the work for you. And if you hit the ball off centre, you lose a lot of power. You must swing through the ball to generate pace.
